Description
We seek to appoint a highly motivated, research-focused individual as a Lecturer in Cybersecurity in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Liverpool. You will conduct world-leading research and contribute to the teaching in our department. You will also be joining our well-established Cybersecurity Institute, a hub of interdisciplinary expertise covering the full spectrum of cybersecurity research, supported in the past five years by a £21 million grant portfolio:

The appointment will be based on your proven research track record or industrial experience. We value theoretical, applied, and interdisciplinary research and research leading to economic and social impact outside academia.
You should have a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related discipline and an excellent track record or demonstrable potential for innovative research and teaching. We welcome applications from outside academia including those who would like to move to academic positions on a part-time basis while continuing to work in the industry.

Please note that in terms of responsibilities and recognition, the position of a Lecturer in the UK is comparable to that of an Assistant Professor in the United States.
